CHATWIN Frederick Charles. February 17, 1926 . Died August 16, 2008 at Vancouver General Hospital after a lengthy battle with kidney disease. Fred had a lifetime of public service: a career soldier as a Chief Warrant Officer in the Canadian Forces including UN peace keeping duties in Egypt and Congo, a young seaman in the British wartime navy, and a police constable in the London Metropolitan Police.
